As we grow, we are striving to remain on the low end of the local average daycare cost in Pickaway County.
Prices may adjust each year, to remain in this sweet spot.
Several discounts are available including multi-child, teachers, veterans, referrals/marketing, and financial need.

Play
We believe children learn best when learning is fun.
We use blocks, dolls, costumes, vehicles, and puzzles to promote logical reasoning, problem solving, and socio-emotional development.
Outside time is critical to our behavior management techniques. We encourage the children in our care to run, chase, dig, throw, flip, climb, build, swing, etc. under our direct supervision. Whatever gets their little muscles working!
Education
We can't help teaching! It's our passion and we love seeing children learn and grow up happy and healthy.
Pre-literacy: every child in our care, regardless of age, will start learning letter sounds for pre-reading skills and progress systematically into formal reading from there.
Mathematics: Lego, blocks, and imaginative "store time" is used to develop understanding in number concepts and applications. The store will also be used as positive reinforcement for behavior and skill mastery .
Creativity
We are not afraid to get messy so you don't have to!
We believe children are curious by nature and learn through experience. In our care, they will explore a variety of art materials: pencils, pens, markers, paint, fibers, paper and natural. materials.
Lesson plans are provided by a state certified Art teacher to promote fine motor skill development.
We FIRMLY believe that EVERY child has the capacity to learn and DESERVES the resources and individualized support to do so.
About
Seedlings Learning Academy LLC
We strive to provide affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment, focusing on individualized education in pre-literacy, basic mathematics, and socio-emotional development.
The center is currently located in the director's private home in South Bloomfield until we are able to move to a larger location. The play area includes a large, fenced in back deck for outside time during rain or shine as well as a fenced in yard. There are clean bedrooms for naptime and inside space for quiet play and learning.
Future Additions: We are working on completing our licensure with the Department of Job and Family Services to be able to take in more children and accept PFCC funds and nutrition grants. We are also hoping to add these other features by Summer 2026: more themed artwork for the walls, an outside playground w/sandbox, nutritious meals and finished basement for indoor recreation time.

Our Team
We love people, no matter what you look like, your past, or your current choices. We are especially passionate about assisting in the care and education of our smallest people, i.e. our kiddos. All of our teachers and staff are fully Pediatric and Adult CPR/First Aid/AED certified as well as completed strict background check requirements. All teachers remain compliant with Ohio State requirements for childcare professional development.
